One day my class and I went to the metropolitan muesuem of art to look at some art. On the bus we pulled over and stopped to eat lunch. When we went inside there were a lot of other schools there and I saw a few of my friends. First, we looked at some sculptures an glass art. I liked the sculptures the dogon couple and a sculpture of a smiling African American. Although it was many years old and it was broken a little it’s smile never broke.

Next we looked at some landscape paintings. My favorite was the oxbow I really liked how they put the painter in the painting itself. Plus my mom was there to teach. I really want to go back to the met sometime later. Then I can teach my family about the sculptures and paintings.
